Just three days. That’s all it takes to create the feeling of a true retreat. For the women who joined our Wisconsin women’s wellness weekend, Friday through Sunday was just enough time to let go, reset, and reconnect—with themselves and others.

The weekend began Friday evening at the beautifully designed Parlor Hotel. The energy shifted the moment our guests stepped inside. A gentle yoga session helped release the tension from the week and the drive. Afterward, we set our intentions for the weekend, paired up with weekend buddies, and opened our hearts to the adventure ahead.

Nourishing Meals and Shared Tables Make Everything Better
That first night, we walked a block to a private, French-inspired vegetarian dinner at Horseradish Kitchen & Market. The cozy space was reserved just for us. We sipped sparkling water, craft cocktails, or wine, then dined on three exquisite courses—roasted root vegetables, caramelized shallot tart tatin, and dreamy homemade rice krispy treats to finish.

This meal was more than food—it was connection. Sitting around the table with other women, swapping stories, and savoring each bite was part of the wellness recipe. We returned to the hotel full, joyful, and already a little transformed.

Saturday: Movement, Creativity, and Connection
Saturday morning started gently with a homemade breakfast spread: coffee, tea, granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, and pastries from Renard’s Bakery just across the street. Then came a nourishing yoga session that included breathwork, fluid movement, and a restful guided meditation. It was the kind of class that leaves you feeling both grounded and uplifted—exactly what a Wisconsin women’s wellness retreat should deliver.

Afterward, everyone had space for solo exploration or downtime—naps, riverside walks, journaling, or browsing local shops. Some returned to Horseradish for a casual lunch; others stayed cozy in the hotel’s lounge with a book.

In the afternoon, we gathered again for a Transformational Adornment workshop with expert metalsmith and art therapy coach Ali Kauss. Each participant chose stones that resonated with them and created beautiful, handmade necklaces or bracelets. With Ali’s guidance, women discovered the joy of intentional creativity. We laughed, made happy mistakes, sang to the music, and celebrated our unique designs.

This kind of group creativity is wellness, too. It reminds us we’re wired for connection. As women, gathering with intention and crafting something meaningful is both healing and joyful.

Saturday Night: An Indian-Inspired Culinary Delight
Dinner on Saturday was another three-course stunner, again lovingly prepared by the Horseradish team. Infused with Indian spices and flavors, the meal felt like a warm hug. From start to finish, the dining experience was infused with joy, care, and deliciousness—exactly what we aim for on a women’s wellness retreat in Wisconsin.

Sunday: Rest, Restore, and Float Home
We started our final morning with another delightful breakfast, followed by a restorative yoga class and yoga nidra (yogic sleep). The energy in the room was soft and peaceful. No rush, no pressure—just a gentle closing to a powerful weekend.

Some lingered at the cafe for lunch. Others quietly packed up and floated out into the world again. By Sunday afternoon, everyone had the same glow. That peaceful, post-retreat energy that you want to bottle and bring back home.

Why These Three Days Worked
I call the return to normal life after a trip the “re-entry period.” Sometimes it hits hard. But after this Wisconsin women’s wellness weekend, many participants shared how they returned with a lingering sense of inspiration, ease, and patience.

That’s the power of just three days—when done right. You don’t need to fly across the globe or take a week off work to feel whole again. You need intentional time, meaningful connection, and opportunities to move, rest, create, and laugh with like-minded women.

This isn’t just a yoga retreat. It’s a full-spectrum reset designed with care for women who want wellness, connection, and joy—in one of Wisconsin’s most charming destinations.
